**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer (2/E) for a Bulk Carrier trading worldwide, Singapore flag. Joining port: TBC.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist Chief Engineer in safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot main engine (ME type) and auxiliary engines
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
- Monitor and record engine room parameters and performance
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag state and international regulations
- Maintain engine room safety, housekeeping and environmental standards
- Supervise and guide engine room ratings in daily tasks

**Requirements**
- Valid 2nd Engineer COC and relevant COPs, suitable for Singapore flag Bulk Carrier
- Minimum 1 year seagoing experience as 2nd Engineer on Bulk Carrier or similar vessel
- Proven experience with ME type main engines
- Valid STCW certificates as required for rank
- Preferably holding a valid US visa
- Medically fit for sea service, with valid medical certificate
