Shape the signature dining experience along the Norwegian coast
Hurtigruten Signature represents the highest level of our coastal experience, and MS Finnmarken is the flagship of this concept. We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Restaurant Manager to lead all Front of House and Beverage operations onboard.
Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, you are a key member of the onboard senior management team with full responsibility for service quality, financial performance, people leadership, and concept delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall leadership and operational responsibility for all restaurants and bars onboard
• Ensure elevated, consistent, and personalised guest experiences aligned with the Hurtigruten Signature concept
• Full budget, revenue, cost control, and KPI responsibility for Front of House & Beverages
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams across the department
• Actively contribute to shipwide performance as part of the Hotel Management Team
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, IK-Mat, IK-Alcohol, labour regulations, and maritime safety standards
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5–7 years’ senior leadership experience from premium hospitality, cruise, or high-end restaurant operations
• Strong Front of House background with proven commercial and people leadership results
• Solid financial and operational understanding
• Experience working with concept-driven and destination-based food and beverage offerings
• Fluent English and some level of German are required
• Scandinavian language skills are an advantage
• Calm, confident, and structured leadership style
• All employees must have Basic safety course for seafarers STCW AV/1-1, 1-2, 1-1, 1-4, Crowd and Crises management course STCW AV/2, and approved health certificate from authorized seafarer doctor. There is no requirement to have completed the courses before applying, but you must be willing to take them
