3rd Engineer (3/E) – Offshore Support Vessel – Marshall Islands Flag – Israel

**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Engineer (3/E) to join an Offshore Support Vessel (PSV) under Marshall Islands flag, with joining in Israel. The 3/E will support safe and efficient engine room operations and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist Chief and Second Engineer in safe operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and systems
- Carry out planned maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on main and auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors and related equipment
- Monitor and record engine room parameters, fuel and lube oil consumption, and ensure proper housekeeping in machinery spaces
- Operate and maintain auxiliary systems, including power generation, bilge, ballast, fuel, and fresh water systems
- Assist with bunker operations and correct use and monitoring of fuel and lubricants
- Follow company safety procedures, permit-to-work system and pollution prevention measures
- Participate in emergency drills and respond to machinery-related emergencies

**Requirements**
- Valid STCW 3rd Engineer (III/1 or equivalent) certificate suitable for vessel and trade
- Minimum 3 years of sea service as 3/E or equivalent on offshore Platform Supply Vessels (PSV)
- Experience with operation and maintenance of diesel engines and auxiliary machinery on offshore support vessels
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety training as required for rank
- Valid medical fitness certificate acceptable for international trade
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and engine room documentation
