Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• 20+ years of offshore drilling engineering experience (deepwater floaters and shallow water jackups).
• Proven track record with HPHT wells, exploratory and development projects.
• Experience collaborating with multiple International and National Oil Companies on high-profile fields.
• Advanced degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or Mining).
• Proficient in well engineering software (e.g., Landmark EDM) and data-driven performance analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Fluent in English; able to operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Tasks:

• Lead real-time drilling monitoring and provide actionable insights for operational improvement.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for drilling performance.
• Review and validate drilling programs; ensure adherence to best practices and regulations.
• Participate in DWOP sessions and support Well Delivery lifecycle (Identify → Decommission).
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to optimize well design and execution.
• Collaborate with rig teams, superintendents, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development initiatives.
• Integrate new technologies and automation to enhance efficiency and safety.
