Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a crude oil tanker trading in the North Sea. Work with an experienced crew, keep the vessel safe and ready, and support deck operations in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out deck work including mooring, anchoring and cargo operations
• Perform lookout and helmsman duties as directed by the officer on watch
• Assist with maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning of deck areas and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and take part in drills and emergency response
• Handle deck machinery, ropes and equipment in a safe and proper manner

Requirements

• Valid AB Deck certificate and basic STCW safety training
• Tanker familiarization; crude oil tanker experience preferred
• Valid medical certificate and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for work in rough weather and cold North Sea conditions
