Join OSM Thome as Deck Fitter on a passenger ferry trading in Europe. You will work closely with the deck team to keep all steel structures, fittings and equipment in good and safe condition, supporting smooth and safe vessel operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repairs, welding, cutting and fabrication on deck and related areas
• Maintain and repair handrails, ladders, hatches, foundations and other deck fittings
• Assist with maintenance of mooring equipment and hull fittings as required
• Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment in a safe and proper way
• Support deck crew in general maintenance and dry dock work when needed

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Deck Fitter / Fitter on seagoing vessels, preferably passenger or ferry
• Good welding and metal fabrication skills (arc/MMA, basic cutting and grinding)
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work safely, follow instructions and cooperate well with a mixed crew
