- Position: Mechanical Supervisor Plant.
- Project: Various Offshore Vessels.
- Location: Worldwide.
- Rotation: 90/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
- Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly.
- Contract start: TBC.
- Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).

Requirements / Qualifications / Competence:
- Ability to verify readiness of work fronts, including drawings, materials, and equipment.
- Proven background in supervising on-site mechanical construction activities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, completion, and close-out processes.
- Solid experience coordinating subcontracted crews and directly hired personnel.
- Demonstrated experience managing punch list activities through to closure.
- Capability to read, interpret, and clarify technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with HSE standards, quality systems, and contractual compliance.
- Skilled in progress tracking, quantity verification, and manpower monitoring.
- Effective coordination and communication skills across construction, engineering, and commissioning teams.
Tasks:
- Supervise on-site mechanical installation activities performed by subcontractors and in-house crews.
- Ensure daily work execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Confirm work readiness by checking availability of materials, drawings, tools, and access.
- Provide technical guidance to field teams to resolve construction or installation issues.
- Monitor correct and safe use of machinery, tools, and lifting equipment.
- Enforce health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards on site.
- Coordinate manpower and equipment allocation, reporting shortages or inefficiencies.
- Plan and update short-term activity schedules for assigned work fronts.
- Track installed quantities and verify actual progress against planned targets.
- Collect manpower and productivity data for weekly progress reporting.
- Identify field engineering issues and report deviations from project requirements.
- Supervise mechanical completion activities to ensure scope readiness for handover.
- Organize work areas to improve workflow efficiency and reduce safety risks.
