Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth and reliable vessel performance.

• Key responsibilities:
• Oversee operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, and all engine room systems
• Lead, train, and supervise the engine department team
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and international regulations
• Maintain engine room logs, records, and reports
• Monitor fuel and lube oil consumption and ensure efficient usage
• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer license (unlimited) – motor
• Recent experience as C/E on bulk carriers
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Candidate must have experience in ME and Bulk Carrier vessels
• Must have valid STCW and BT PSSR Training
• Prefers with valid US Visa
