Join OSM Thome as a 3rd Officer Junior on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in Europe. This is a great step for a young officer looking to build experience in navigation, cargo operations, and deck duties within a safe and professional environment.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist with bridge watchkeeping under the supervision of senior officers
• Support navigation, voyage planning, and position fixing
• Assist in cargo operations, tank inspection, and line-up as instructed
• Carry out routine deck maintenance and safety rounds
• Participate in safety drills and follow company and industry procedures
• Keep logs, checklists, and records as required

• Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license meeting STCW requirements
• Tanker familiarization and Oil/Chemical tanker certificates as per STCW
• Valid STCW basic safety training and medical certificate
• Good spoken and written English
• Previous sea service as Deck Cadet or Junior Officer preferred
• Safety-minded, willing to learn, and able to work in a team
