Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in offshore hook-up or similar field installation work.
- Valid offshore safety certification (BOSIET) and H2S awareness training preferred.
- Cable gland installation competency with ATEX or equivalent certification is an asset.
- Completed HSE induction and basic life support training.
- Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and procedures.
- Background in instrumentation—installation, calibration, and loop testing.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Technical diploma or engineering degree (or comparable qualification).
- English proficiency at B1–B2 level.
Tasks:
- Install, route, and terminate instrument cables and devices offshore.
- Calibrate and verify instruments and control loops.
- Conduct functional tests and loop checks.
- Ensure compliance with PTW, HSE, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and control teams for project integration.
- Maintain accurate installation and testing records.
- Assist in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system handover.
- Identify and report potential issues or deviations to supervisors.
