KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operational Standardization: Maintain and elevate the operational standards of IT systems onboard each vessel, continuously assessing performance, reliability, and security.
• Dynamic Responsibilities: Embrace a flexible job scope, recognizing that the role may evolve as business needs change. New responsibilities may be assigned, and existing ones may be refined with appropriate notice.
• Budgeting: Take charge of vessel IT budgeting processes, including annual planning, cost analysis, and ongoing expenditure tracking. Ensure optimal allocation of resources while maintaining fiscal responsibility, and collaborate with Fleet teams to align IT investments with operational goals and budgetary constraints.
• Project Initiation and Direction: Set priorities, launch new projects, and issue directives pertaining to vessel information systems and services, driving the advancement of IT capabilities onboard.
• Project Coordination and Data Integrity: Oversee and coordinate all stages of project development, ensuring the integrity and security of company databases utilized aboard vessels.
