Join OSM Thome as Pumpman on board our oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Work with an experienced crew to keep cargo operations safe, efficient and in line with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain cargo and ballast pumps, lines and valves
• Assist with cargo loading, discharging, stripping and tank cleaning
• Carry out routine checks, basic repairs and maintenance of pump room equipment
• Ensure safe work practices in the pump room and on deck during cargo operations
• Report any defects, leaks or unsafe conditions to deck officers

Requirements

• Previous experience as Pumpman on oil/chemical tankers
• Good knowledge of cargo pumping systems, valves and pipelines
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Good English communication skills and ability to work in an international crew
