Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook (C/C) on an offshore support vessel trading worldwide. You will be in charge of the galley, preparing good, safe and tasty meals for the crew and keeping high standards of hygiene and food safety on board.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Plan menus and prepare daily meals for crew and officers
• Order, receive and store food provisions and galley supplies
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and stores
• Control food stocks, avoid waste and keep cost-effective cooking
• Follow all safety, health and sanitation procedures on board
• Support a positive atmosphere and good welfare for the crew through quality meals

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Chief Cook or Cook on offshore vessels or ships
• Valid seafarer documents and medical certificate as per STCW requirements
• Good knowledge of galley safety, food hygiene and safe food handling
• Ability to plan menus and work independently in a busy galley
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work in a multicultural crew and worldwide trading area
• Hold UK Work Permit
