Key responsibilities

• Stand navigational watch as OOW, ensuring safe navigation at sea and in port
• Assist with voyage planning, position fixing, and maintaining bridge equipment
• Monitor safety, security and pollution prevention on deck and during cargo operations
• Oversee maintenance of lifesaving and firefighting appliances as assigned
• Support mooring operations, cargo watch and general deck duties
• Follow company procedures and SMS at all times

Requirements

• Valid STCW OICNW / 3rd Officer license for seagoing vessels
• Experience on bulk carriers preferred
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
• Valid medical certificate fit for duty at sea
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to work in a multinational crew
