Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on a modern LNG tanker trading from the Netherlands. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and engine team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Plan and carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Monitor engine performance, fuel and lube oil systems, and report any abnormalities
• Supervise engine room ratings and ensure safe working practices
• Support proper operation and maintenance of LNG cargo and related systems as instructed
• Keep engine room logs, records, and maintenance reports up to date
• Follow company safety procedures and take part in drills and training

Requirements

• Valid STCW Reg. III/2 2nd Engineer CoC, unlimited
• Previous experience as 2/E on tanker vessels; LNG experience preferred
• All mandatory STCW safety courses and valid medical certificate
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written
• Strong safety mindset and good teamwork skills
