Join OSM Thome as a Messman on an offshore construction vessel trading worldwide. You will help keep the galley, mess room and accommodation clean and tidy, and support the cook and crew with daily meals and service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the cook with basic food preparation and serving meals
• Keep galley, mess room and pantries clean and orderly
• Wash dishes, utensils and galley equipment
• Clean crew accommodation, corridors and common areas
• Collect and dispose of garbage in a safe and proper way
• Follow all safety and hygiene procedures onboard

Requirements

• Previous experience as Messman or similar position at sea is an advantage
• Valid seafarer documents and medical certificate as per STCW
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty and able to work in a multinational crew
• Willing to follow company safety and hygiene standards
