• Key responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair all electrical equipment and systems onboard
• Carry out troubleshooting on faults in power generation and distribution
• Look after engine room automation, control systems and alarm systems
• Support safe and efficient cargo and deck operations from an electrical side
• Follow safety procedures and planned maintenance routines
• Keep clear records of electrical work and spare parts used
• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Electrician/ELEC at sea, preferably on container vessels
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents as per rank
• Good knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently
• Good English communication skills
