Motorman (MTM) / Oiler – Oil/Chemical Tanker – Liberia Flag

**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Motorman (MTM) / Oiler for an oil/chemical tanker under Liberia flag, trading worldwide. Joining port will be in the United Kingdom. Candidate must have solid engine room experience on oil/chemical tankers and be ready for global deployment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist Engine Officers in day-to-day engine room operations
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and watchkeeping duties
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment as directed
- Maintain lubrication of machinery and record oil usage
- Follow safety and pollution prevention procedures at all times
- Assist during bunkering, cargo operations and engine room drills

**Requirements**
- Minimum 1 year sea service as Motorman/Oiler on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents for tanker service
- Valid Liberia Seaman’s Book or Panama Seaman’s Book (or willing/able to obtain)
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Good command of working maritime English
- Able to work in a watch system and in a multinational crew environment
