OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to sail on fully pressurized LPG tankers trading worldwide. If you are confident in managing engine room operations, leading multination crews, and keeping the vessel safe and efficient, we want to hear from you.

• Key responsibilities:
• Oversee safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Manage bunkering, fuel and lube oil consumption, and engine room spares
• Lead, train and supervise the engine department team
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, vetting, class and flag requirements
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
• Maintain engine room documentation, logs and reports
• Support the Master in all safety, environmental and emergency matters
• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer license – unlimited, motor
• Strong experience as C/E on LPG or other gas / tanker vessels
• STCW certificates fully compliant and up to date
• Good knowledge of tanker operations, safety and environmental standards
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written
• Proven leadership and ability to work with multinational crews
