Information about the job:
- Job Title: Maintenance and Assurance Officer.
- Project: DP3 OCV and DP2 OSV vessels.
- Location: Worldwide (currently in Guyana and KSA).
- Duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 90/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
- Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid only while working.
- Start date: ASAP (Approximately June 2026).
- Overtime: Applicable.
- Insurance: Provided by the company.
- Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.
Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical, administrative, or document control role within the oil and gas sector.
- Familiarity with quality control documentation processes and compliance standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of technical records.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling maintenance and assurance data.
- Proficient in document management systems and standard office software.
- Ability to coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and QA/QC teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in a technical environment.
Tasks:
- Maintain and update maintenance and assurance records in line with company procedures.
- Control, track, and archive technical documents to ensure version accuracy and accessibility.
- Support quality assurance activities by preparing and organizing inspection and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate document flow between departments, ensuring timely approvals and distribution.
- Assist in audits by retrieving and verifying required maintenance and QA records.
- Monitor documentation completeness for maintenance activities and flag any discrepancies.
- Ensure all records meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
