Set sail as an Electrician (ELEC) on a bulk carrier with OSM Thome. Work with a global crew, maintain safe and reliable electrical systems, and support smooth vessel operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment on board
• Carry out routine inspections, testing, and fault-finding on power and control systems
• Maintain lighting, generators, switchboards, motors, and automation systems
• Support engine and deck departments with electrical work and troubleshooting
• Follow safety procedures and keep accurate maintenance records

Requirements

• Previous sea experience as Electrician (ELEC), preferably on bulk carriers
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Good knowledge of marine electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and within a multicultural crew
• Good command of English, spoken and written
