Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on an offshore FPSO/FSO unit in Egypt. You will be in charge of the engine department, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of all machinery and systems on board.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the engine room team
• Operate, monitor and maintain main engines, generators and auxiliary machinery
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure safe engine room operations in line with company and flag state rules
• Manage bunkering, fuel and lube oil consumption and records
• Keep engine room logs, reports and maintenance records up to date
• Support safe cargo and production operations on the FPSO/FSO
• Cooperate closely with the Master and other senior officers

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer (Unlimited) CoC, III/2
• Proven seagoing experience as C/E, preferably on FPSO/FSO or offshore vessels
• Strong knowledge of marine propulsion and power generation systems
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificates and offshore documents as required
• Strong leadership, safety mindset and problem-solving skills
