Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer (3/E) on Oil/Chemical Tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently while gaining solid tanker experience.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the 2/E and C/E in operating and maintaining main engine, auxiliaries and engine room systems
• Carry out watchkeeping duties, engine room rounds and update logbooks
• Perform planned maintenance and repairs on assigned machinery and equipment
• Support bunkering, fuel transfers and daily fuel/lube oil checks
• Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work and company SMS at all times
• Assist in emergency drills and response as per vessel’s emergency plan

• Requirements:
• Valid STCW III/1 CoC – Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch
• Experience as 3/E (or 4/E ready to step up) on tankers; oil/chemical experience preferred
• All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer’s medical
• Tanker familiarization and relevant tanker safety certificates
• Good English communication skills and strong safety mindset
