Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Take full responsibility for the engine department, keep all machinery safe and efficient, and support reliable vessel operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the engine room team
• Operate, monitor and maintain main engine, auxiliaries and all machinery
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and international regulations
• Keep engine room records, logs and reports up to date
• Cooperate closely with the Master and bridge team for safe and efficient voyages

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer (Unlimited) CoC
• Candidate must have valid STCW including BT PSSR training
• Prefers with valid US Visa
• Candidate must have experience in RT Flex type engine - 2 strokes
• Recent experience as C/E on bulk carriers
• Strong knowledge of engine room systems and maintenance
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and safety mindset
