OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join our chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently on board.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations
• Plan and carry out maintenance and repairs on main engine and auxiliaries
• Monitor and record engine room parameters and performance
• Ensure safe operation of cargo, ballast and bunkering systems
• Follow all safety, environmental and company procedures
• Supervise and guide junior engine room staff

• Requirements:
• Valid STCW 2/E (III/2) CoC for motor vessels
• Experience as 2nd Engineer on chemical or product tankers
• Good knowledge of engine room and cargo handling systems
• All required STCW certificates and valid medical
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in an international crew
• experience with ME-engines
