Join OSM Thome as Electrician (ELEC) on an offshore cable-layer operating worldwide. You will work with the vessel’s electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable power for all deck and engine operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard
• Troubleshoot faults on power distribution, motors, switchboards and automation systems
• Support safe cable-laying operations by keeping all related systems in good working order
• Assist with planned maintenance routines and keep accurate maintenance records
• Follow all safety procedures and cooperate closely with deck and engine teams

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Electrician/ELEC on offshore vessels, preferably cable-layers or similar
• Relevant electrical qualification and valid STCW certificates
• Good knowledge of shipboard electrical and automation systems
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently
• Good command of English, spoken and written
