Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on an offshore pipe-layer operating in Brazil. You will support safe marine operations, DP activities and deck work, while leading the deck team and keeping high standards of safety and seamanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Master in all shipboard operations and navigation
• Plan and supervise deck, cargo and pipe-layer operations
• Lead and train deck crew, ensuring safe working practices
• Monitor vessel stability, ballast and cargo condition
• Oversee maintenance of deck equipment and safety gear
• Support DP operations and follow project and client procedures
• Ensure compliance with SMS, MARPOL, ISM and company policies

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license and STCW certificates
• Offshore / DP vessel experience; pipe-layer experience preferred
• Strong background in deck, cargo and marine operations
• Good leadership and crew management skills
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written
• Medically fit for offshore work and able to join in Brazil
