Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on an offshore well stimulation vessel trading in Congo. You will be part of the engine department, supporting safe and efficient vessel operations in a challenging offshore environment.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer with day-to-day running and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot main engines, auxiliaries, and related systems
• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs according to PMS and company procedures
• Keep engine room logs, records, and reports up to date and accurate
• Ensure safe working practices, compliance with flag, class, and company standards
• Support bunkering, fuel transfers, and pollution prevention measures

• Requirements:
• Valid STCW 2/E (unlimited or suitable equivalent) with all mandatory certificates up to date
• Previous experience as 2nd Engineer, preferably on offshore or similar specialized vessels
• Strong knowledge of engine room systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken
• Fit for duty, with valid medical and offshore certificates as required
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to work in Congo offshore area
