• Key responsibilities:
  • Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
  • Assist with mooring, unmooring and cargo operations
  • Stand lookout and assist on bridge as directed
  • Handle lines, fenders, and deck gear safely
  • Follow orders from officers and Bosun and work as part of the deck team
  • Support safety drills and follow all safety and pollution-prevention procedures
• Requirements:
  • Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
  • Experience on tankers (oil/chemical) preferred
  • Valid seafarer medical and seaman’s book
  • Good English communication skills
  • Fit for hard deck work and willing to follow safety rules at all times
