Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on a modern car carrier and be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution
• Carry out troubleshooting and repairs on automation, navigation and communication systems
• Perform planned maintenance on electrical systems and keep accurate maintenance records
• Support engine and deck teams with electrical and electronic issues as needed
• Ensure all work follows safety procedures and company standards

Requirements

• Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
• Experience as ETO, preferably on car carriers or similar vessel types
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
