Join OSM Thome as an Ablebodied Seafarer (AB) on a car carrier trading worldwide. Be part of a professional deck crew, keeping the vessel safe, seaworthy, and ready for cargo operations across global routes.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and unmooring operations
• Stand lookout and steering watches as directed by the officer on watch
• Carry out routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
• Assist with cargo operations and lashings for vehicles
• Handle deck equipment and safety gear according to company procedures
• Follow onboard safety rules and participate in drills

Requirements:

• Valid AB / Deck Rating certificate in accordance with STCW
• Updated STCW basic safety training and seafarer medical certificate
• Experience on Ro-Ro or car carriers is an advantage
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for deck work and willing to work in a global trading pattern
