• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist engine room crew with daily operations and maintenance
  • Keep engine room and machinery spaces clean and in good order
  • Help with bunkering and transfer of fuel and lubricants as directed
  • Carry out routine checks and simple lubrication and cleaning jobs
  • Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
  • Support engineers during repairs and overhauls when required
• Requirements:
  • Valid STCW certificates for Wiper / Engine rating as required
  • Previous sea experience in engine department preferred
  • Valid tanker (oil/chemical) training certificates
  • Good English communication skills
  • Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
  • Team player with a positive and willing attitude to learn
