Join us on board a passenger ocean cruise vessel as an Assistant Pastry in Spain. Work at sea in an international galley team, preparing quality pastries and desserts for guests while keeping high standards of safety and hygiene.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Pastry Chef in daily preparation and baking of breads, cakes, and desserts
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the pastry section
- Check quality of ingredients and report any issues to supervisors
- Follow all food safety and galley safety procedures
- Requirements:
- Previous experience in pastry or bakery, preferably at sea or in hotels/restaurants
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Good English communication skills
- Able to work in shifts and under pressure in a busy galley
- Fit for sea duty and willing to work and live onboard
