Set sail as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook on an ocean-going passenger cruise vessel. Be part of OSM Thome’s galley team, supporting daily meal preparation for guests and crew while keeping high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Assist the Chief Cook and galley team with daily food preparation and cooking
    • Follow standard menus, recipes, and portion control
    • Prepare ingredients: cleaning, cutting, and basic cooking tasks
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in the galley and food storage areas
    • Follow all food safety and HACCP procedures
    • Support stock control, proper storage, and correct use of provisions
  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook, preferably at sea or in large-scale catering
    • Basic maritime documents and valid medical certificate
    • Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene standards
    • Ability to work in shifts and in a fast-paced galley environment
    • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
