Join OSM Thome as 1st Cook on an ocean cruise passenger vessel sailing from Spain. Take charge of the galley team, prepare high-quality meals for guests and crew, and ensure safe and smooth kitchen operations at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and cook daily menus for passengers and crew
- Lead and supervise galley staff during all meal services
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and galley cleanliness at all times
- Control food stores, stock rotation and portion sizes
- Work closely with the Chief Cook and other departments to maintain service standards
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as 1st Cook or similar rank on passenger or cruise vessels
- Recognized cook/chef qualification and basic food hygiene certificates
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong teamwork, leadership and ability to work under pressure at sea
