Set sail as 1st Cook on a passenger ocean cruise vessel operating from Spain. Be part of OSM Thome’s galley team and help deliver tasty, well-presented meals for guests and crew while keeping high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily menus for passengers and crew
- Cook and present dishes according to company and vessel standards
- Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and inventory control
- Keep galley areas clean, safe, and in line with HACCP rules
- Lead and guide junior galley staff during service
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as 1st Cook or similar role on passenger/cruise vessels
- Recognized culinary training or cook certification
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong focus on safety, hygiene, and teamwork
