Set sail as 1st Cook on a passenger ocean cruise vessel operating from Spain. Be part of OSM Thome’s galley team and help deliver tasty, well-presented meals for guests and crew while keeping high standards of hygiene and safety.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare daily menus for passengers and crew
  • Cook and present dishes according to company and vessel standards
  • Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and inventory control
  • Keep galley areas clean, safe, and in line with HACCP rules
  • Lead and guide junior galley staff during service
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience as 1st Cook or similar role on passenger/cruise vessels
  • Recognized culinary training or cook certification
  • Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong focus on safety, hygiene, and teamwork
