OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on a RORO vessel. If you have solid sea-going experience with vessel electrical and electronic systems and enjoy working in a hands-on engine room environment, this role could be a great fit.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic systems on board
  • Carry out fault-finding, troubleshooting and testing of equipment
  • Maintain and repair automation, control and alarm systems
  • Ensure safe operation of power generation and distribution systems
  • Keep accurate maintenance and repair records in line with company procedures
  • Support safe operations and cooperate closely with engine and deck departments
• Requirements:
  • Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
  • Previous experience as ETO, preferably on RORO/ROPAX or similar vessels
  • Good knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
  • Good English communication skills
  • Medically fit for sea service
  • UK work permit
