Join OSM Thome as a 3rd Officer Junior on an oil/chemical tanker trading in Europe. This is a good step for deck officers building tanker experience in a safe and professional environment.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist with bridge watchkeeping under the supervision of senior officers
• Support navigational planning, position fixing, and logbook entries
• Assist in cargo operations, tank line-up, and monitoring
• Take part in safety rounds, drills, and permit-to-work systems
• Help with maintenance of deck equipment and safety gear
• Requirements:
• Valid Deck Officer license (OICNW or equivalent) appropriate for 3rd Officer Junior rank
• STCW certificates up to date, including Basic and Advanced Tanker (Oil/Chemical)
• Previous sea service on tankers preferred, cadet time acceptable
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificates and travel documents
