Information about the job:
- Job Title: Welding QC Inspector.
- Project: Multipurpose DP3 vessel.
- Location: Worldwide (currently in Romania).
- Duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 90/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
- Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid only while working.
- Start date: ASAP (Approximately June 2026).
- Insurance: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Certified Welding CSWIP 3.1.
- Minimum of 3 years of offshore pipeline experience or hook-up.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to work internationally and travel frequently.
- Strong knowledge of coating application procedures, inspection techniques, and international standards.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Tasks:
- Perform inspections and monitor all welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (such as ASME, AWS, ISO).
- Review and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications.
- Conduct visual inspections of welds, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) surveillance, and ensure weld quality and workmanship meet acceptance criteria.
- Monitor pre-welding, welding, and post-welding operations including fit-up, alignment, heat input, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment.
- Identify and report non-conformities and assist in the development of corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, welding logs, and reports.
- Coordinate with the construction team, welding supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues related to welding.
- Ensure that welding equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to welding quality.
- Ensure that all safety practices are strictly followed during welding operations.
