Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting smooth vessel operations and cargo delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
• Monitor and maintain control systems, automation, navigation and communication equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and electronic systems
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with class, flag and company standards
• Keep accurate records, reports and logs related to electrical equipment and maintenance
• Assist bridge and engine teams during operations, drills and emergencies

Requirements

• Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
• Must be qualified on modern engines 
• With Dual Fuel experience and high voltage certificate.
• With IGF Advance certification
• Experience as ETO, preferably on car carriers or other cargo vessels
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in an international crew
