Join OSM Thome as a Catering Assistant onboard our bulk carrier fleet, sailing worldwide. Support the catering team in providing good, safe and tasty food for the crew and help keep the galley and messroom clean and well organized.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Cook with meal preparation and serving
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in galley, messroom and food storage areas
• Wash dishes, kitchen equipment and keep workstations tidy
• Receive, check and properly store food and supplies
• Follow safety and food handling procedures at all times

• Requirements:
• Previous shipboard or shore-based catering/galley experience
• Good command of English
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and galley safety
• Fit for duty with valid medical and required maritime documents
• Team player, willing to work hard and follow instructions
