- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and motorman with daily engine room duties
- Clean and maintain engine room spaces, bilges and equipment
- Support bunkering, fuel transfer and lube oil operations as directed
- Carry out basic maintenance, greasing and painting jobs
- Follow safety rules and take part in drills and toolbox talks
- Keep tools, stores and workshops in good order
- Requirements:
- Previous sea experience as Wiper or engine rating preferred
- Valid STCW basic safety training and STCW medical certificate
- Valid seaman’s book and tanker familiarization preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty, hardworking and willing to learn
- Ready to work worldwide on oil/chemical tankers
