Set sail as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker with OSM Thome. Take a key leadership role on board, supporting the Master, leading the deck team, and ensuring safe and efficient cargo and ship operations worldwide.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
• Plan and supervise loading, discharging and care of chemical cargoes
• Manage deck crew and deck maintenance, including mooring operations
• Oversee stability, ballasting and draft condition of the vessel
• Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and company procedures
• Lead onboard safety routines, drills and emergency preparedness
• Maintain cargo gear, safety equipment and deck stores
• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) CoC
• Recent experience as C/O  on chemical tankers
• Advanced Chemical Tanker Endorsement
• All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical
• Good command of English, written and spoken
• Strong leadership, safety mindset and teamwork skills
