Join OSM Thome as a 2nd Officer on a PSV operating offshore from Aberdeen, UK. We are looking for a competent and safety-focused deck officer to support bridge operations and vessel management in a busy offshore environment.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Stand navigational watch and ensure safe vessel operations
  • Assist the Chief Officer with deck, cargo and DP operations
  • Monitor navigational equipment, weather and traffic
  • Oversee deck crew during routine and cargo handling work
  • Maintain charts, publications and bridge equipment as required
  • Support safety drills, inspections and permit-to-work routines
  • Ensure compliance with company, flag state and international regulations
• Requirements:
  • Valid STCW 2/O license appropriate for vessel and trading area
  • Previous experience as 2nd Officer, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
  • Valid DP certificate preferred
  • All required STCW safety and security courses up to date
  • Valid medical fitness certificate and offshore survival (BOSIET/FOET) an advantage
  • Good English communication skills and strong safety awareness
