Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Take full charge of the engine department, keep all machinery in safe and efficient working order, and support safe, reliable vessel operations across global trades.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the engine room team
• Operate, monitor and maintain all main and auxiliary machinery
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
• Ensure safe engine room operations in line with company and IMO rules
• Control fuel, lube oil and spare parts usage and inventory
• Prepare and support class, flag and PSC inspections
• Maintain engine room logs, records and reports

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer (Unlimited) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
• Recent experience as C/E on bulk carriers
• Strong knowledge of main engine, auxiliaries and ship systems
• Good English communication skills
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates, valid medical
• Strong leadership, good teamwork and safety-first mindset
• CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ME ENGINE TYPE VESSEL
• MUST HAVE VALID US VISA
• CANDIDATE MUST HAVE VALID DOCUMENTS INCLUDING UPDATING PSSR TRAINING
