Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on an Offshore PSV working in UK waters. You will support the engine room team in keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- Carry out regular rounds, checks, and basic troubleshooting in the engine room
- Perform oiling, greasing, cleaning, and routine maintenance of machinery
- Follow planned maintenance schedules and record readings correctly
- Support bunkering operations and engine room watchkeeping as required
- Work safely and follow all onboard safety and environmental procedures
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on offshore or PSV vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness in line with UK/flag requirements
- Engine Room Watch Rating or equivalent qualification
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a small, mixed crew
