Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on worldwide trading oil/chemical tankers. You will be a key part of the vessel’s command team, supporting safe and efficient cargo and deck operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in overall vessel management and navigation
- Plan and supervise cargo loading, discharging and tank cleaning
- Lead and organize deck crew for daily operations and maintenance
- Ensure safe operation and compliance with ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Oversee stability, ballast and draft during all stages of the voyage
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license (STCW II/2) for tanker vessels
- Sea service experience as C/O or 2/O on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid tanker endorsements (oil/chemical) and STCW certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and proven leadership skills on deck
- 3Y experience in rank
