OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on an offshore heavy lift crane vessel in Qatar. You will be responsible for safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting heavy lifting and marine operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical, electronic and automation systems on board
• Carry out troubleshooting and repair of power generation, distribution and control systems
• Maintain crane electrical systems, drives, winches, and related equipment
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance according to PMS and makers’ manuals
• Keep accurate records, logs and reports of all electrical work and inspections
• Support safe deck and crane operations, working closely with the deck and engine teams

• Requirements:
• Valid Electro Technical Officer CoC and STCW certificates
• Sea service as ETO, preferably on offshore, construction or heavy lift vessels
• Strong experience with high voltage systems, cranes and automation
• Good knowledge of fault finding on electrical and electronic equipment
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical and offshore certificates (e.g. HUET/BOSIET, if required)
