Key responsibilities
Assist in operating, monitoring and maintaining main and auxiliary engines and all engine room machinery
Carry out routine inspections, checks and maintenance as per planned maintenance system
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and auxiliary systems when required
Ensure safe engine room operations and compliance with company and regulatory standards
Keep engine room logs and records up to date
Support bunkering and fuel/lube oil transfers as instructed by Chief Engineer
Requirements
Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) STCW license suitable for offshore/PSV operations
Previous experience as 2/E on offshore vessels, preferably PSVs
Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates and medical fitness
Good knowledge of engine room systems, PMS and troubleshooting
Ability to work safely in a multinational crew and follow company procedures
Good spoken and written English
