Join OSM Thome as Gas Engineer on board an LNG tanker trading in Europe. Work with a professional crew, modern systems and safe LNG operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor LNG cargo and gas systems
- Carry out gas plant start-up, shutdown and change-over
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on cargo and gas equipment
- Support cargo loading, discharging and tank operations
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and industry standards
- Keep records, logs and reports related to gas and cargo systems
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Gas Engineer / Gas Officer on LNG tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and LNG tanker endorsements as per rank
- Strong knowledge of LNG cargo handling and gas plant operation
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
